How much space we do need & do I need to provide anything?
Our lessons don't require much space at all, as long as you have some free floor space. This could be your living room, office, garage or even outdoors! More often than not, a slight shuffle of some furniture is all you need. We will come to you ready to go with a music speaker, your chosen music and prepared choreography.
What are your hours?
Lessons are conducted on weekends and after hours on week days depending on location.
How many lessons do we need?
The number of lessons required will vary based on how elaborate the routine is as well as the time remaining until your wedding day. If you desire a dance that embraces simplicity, four lessons should be perfect. If you aspire to have a more extravagant first dance routine to truly wow your guests, it is recommended to consider the 6-8 lesson option.
How long before our wedding day should we start lessons?
We recommend starting a couple of months prior, with the last lesson being 1-2 weeks before your wedding day.
This too would all be influenced by the complexity of the routine, how many lessons you are taking and the time in between each lesson.
What are the reasons to consider taking wedding dance lessons?
First dance lessons are the perfect way to add a unique and special touch to your big day. Not only do they take away the stress of wedding planning, but they create a fun way to spend quality time with your partner.
You'll improve your confidence for the big day while you and your partner will quickly learn basic dance fundamentals that you can take away and use for years to come.
What should I wear for the lessons?
You should wear whatever you feel confident learning in. We recommend wearing your heels/shoes you'll be wearing on the day or something similar to ensure you feel confident doing the choreography (Fella's this is a good opportunity to break in your shoes too!)
We don't know what music to dance to? Can you help?
Absolutely, every package includes assistance with selecting music, if needed. We have curated a playlist of songs that you can explore to inspire your choices.
Do you require a deposit or payment upfront to secure bookings?
Our emergency 90-minute lesson and casual lessons would need to be purchased in full when booking.
All other packages require a 50% deposit to secure your booking.
Do you recommend organising a rehearsal at our venue prior to our wedding day?
Yes! Changing your surroundings and getting used to the space prior to your day will increase your confidence for your big day. If you want to organise this with us, discuss it with us upon quotation.
Do you have a studio?
We are a mobile service & do not have a studio. However, we have studios we can hire in the Southern Highlands & in the Illawarra which will be charged at an additional $40.00 an hour.
